The 2019 NFL season is finally here! Tomorrow night the Green Bay Packers will travel to Chigaco to face the Bears to kick off the NFL’s 100th season. Fantasy owners have waited all summer long for this and it’s finally here. Below I have given you my week one rankings based on PPR scoring.

Watson has the best chance to finish as QB1 this week against the Saints in a shootout that has a total of 53 points. The Texans will have to play catch-up to keep up with the high-octane Saints’ offense. The dark horse for QB1 this week is Winston, who has a great matchup at home verse a weak 49ers’ secondary. It’s a shootout game with a 50 point total.

Rank | Name | Opponent |
1 | Alvin Kamara | vs Texans |

32 | Tevin Coleman | at Buccaneers |
33 | Derrius Guice | at Eagles |
34 | Royce Freeman | at Raiders |
35 | Kenyan Drake | vs Ravens |
36 | Devin Singletary | at Jets |
Kamara has the best chance to finish as RB1 in a shootout game with the Texans. There’s going to be a ton of points in this game and I don’t think it will be a blowout, so Kamara has tons of upside this week. The dark horse for RB1 is Fournette, as the Jaguars will need to put up points to keep up with the Chiefs’ offense. Fournette is going to be used more in the passing game and the Chiefs’ run defense is weak.
Evans has the best chance to finish as WR1 in a great matchup and home against a weak 49ers’ secondary. This game has shootout potential and Evans should be able to torch the San Fran secondary. The dark horse for WR1 is Golladay, who faces a weak Arizona secondary that will be without its top two corners, including standout Patrick Peterson. The Cardinals will play fast so this game has shootout potential.
Tight Ends | ||
Rank | Name | Opponent |
1 | George Kittle | at Buccaneers |
2 | Zach Ertz | vs Redskins |
3 | Travis Kelce | at Jaguars |
4 | O.J. Howard | vs 49ers |
5 | Evan Engram | at Cowboys |
6 | Hunter Henry | vs Colts |
7 | Vance McDonald | at Patriots |
8 | Mark Andrews | at Dolphins |
9 | Jared Cook | vs Texans |
10 | David Njoku | vs Titans |
11 | Delanie Walker | at Browns |
12 | Austin Hooper | at Vikings |
13 | Eric Ebron | at Chargers |
14 | T.J. Hockenson | at Cardinals |
15 | Jimmy Graham | at Bears |
16 | Jordan Reed | at Eagles |
17 | Dallas Goedert | vs Redskins |
18 | Tyler Eifert | at Seahawks |
19 | Noah Fant | at Raiders |
20 | Kyle Rudolph | vs Falcons |
21 | Will Dissly | vs Bengals |
22 | Jack Doyle | at Chargers |
23 | Jason Witten | vs Giants |
24 | Darren Waller | vs Broncos |
Kittle has the best chance to finish as TE1 against a weak Buccaneers’ defense in a shootout game. Kittle will have several opportunities to score a touchdown here. Andrews is the dark horse to finish as TE1, as he goes up against one of the weakest defenses in football in Miami. Andrews has been the standout of Ravens’ camp and has a great chance for a big game here.
D/STs | ||
Rank | Team | Opponent |
1 | Philadelphia Eagles | vs Redskins |
2 | Baltimore Ravens | at Dolphins |
3 | Cleveland Browns | vs Titans |
4 | Dallas Cowboys | vs Giants |
5 | Seattle Seahawks | vs Bengals |
6 | Los Angeles chargers | vs Colts |
7 | Denver Broncos | at Raiders |
8 | Chicago Bears | vs Packers |
9 | New York Jets | vs Bills |
10 | Buffalo Bills | at Jets |
11 | New Orleans Saints | vs Texans |
12 | New England Patriots | vs Steelers |
The Eagles have the best chance to finish as D/ST1 against a Redskins offense with Case Keenum at quarterback and without standout left tackle Trent Williams. Expect them to rack up sacks and turnovers. The dark horse for D/ST1 would be the Bills, whose stout pass defense could pose problems for Darnold and lead to a few turnovers.
