Week six featured the triumphant return of Tyreek Hill, continued dominance from Deshaun Watson, and a breakout performance from Kyler Murray. The biggest question we have heading into week seven is the health of Patrick Mahomes, as he’s been slowed down by a bum ankle over the last two weeks. Will Mahomes rebound against a rejuvenated Broncos’ defense on a short week?

Wilson has been the best fantasy quarterback this season, so he claims the position of QB1 in a projected shootout with a 50.5 total against Jackson and the Ravens. The dark horse for QB1 is Allen, who faces the worst defense in football in the Miami Dolphins. Allen should be able to rack up yards both on the ground and in the air against this putrid defense.

Cook claims RB1 spot for the week with Christian McCaffrey on the bye. He takes on a Lions defense that is allowing 133.8 rushing yards per game. The dark horse for RB1 is Lindsay, who should be the focal point of a run-heavy game-plan against a Chiefs’ defense that is getting shredded on the ground for 161.8 yards per game.
Thomas has been one of the most consistent wide receivers in the NFL this year, so he claims WR1, even in a tough match-up against the Bears. The dark horse for WR1 is Cooks, who should get loose on the fast track against a porous Falcons’ secondary. This is a smash spot for him in a game with a 54 point total.
Tight Ends | ||
Rank | Name | Opponent |
1 | Evan Engram | vs. Cardinals |
2 | George Kittle | at Redskins |
3 | Travis Kelce | at Broncos |
4 | Austin Hooper | vs. Rams |

12 | Dawson Knox | vs. Dolphins |
13 | T.J. Hockenson | vs. Vikings |
14 | Jason Witten | vs. Eagles |
15 | Jimmy Graham | vs. Raiders |
16 | Eric Ebron | vs. Texans |
17 | Noah Fant | vs. Chiefs |
18 | Jack Doyle | vs. Texans |

20 | Tyler Eifert | vs. Jaguars |
21 | Mike Gesicki | at Bills |
22 | Luke Willson | vs. Ravens |
23 | Trey Burton | vs. Saints |
24 | Jeremy Sprinkle | vs. 49ers |
Engram returns to action as the TE1 against the Cardinals, who we continue to pick on every week for their lack of coverage towards opposing tight ends. The dark horse for TE1 is Walker, who should see an uptick in production with the quarterback change from Marcus Mariota to Ryan Tannehill.
D/STs | ||
Rank | Team | Opponent |
1 | New England Patriots | at Jets |
2 | Buffalo Bills | vs. Dolphins |
3 | San Francisco 49ers | at Redskins |
4 | Chicago Bears | vs. Saints |
5 | Tennessee Titans | vs. Chargers |
6 | Jacksonville Jaguars | at Bengals |
7 | Los Angeles Chargers | at Titans |
8 | New Orleans Saints | at Bears |
9 | Green Bay Packers | vs. Raiders |
10 | Minnesota Vikings | at Lions |
11 | Houston Texans | at Colts |
12 | Detroit Lions | vs. Vikings |
The Patriots defense is on a historic run right now, producing similar fantasy points to an elite running back. They remain as D/ST1 against Darnold and the Jets. The dark horse for D/ST1 is the Titans, who should be rejuvenated by the quarterback change. Look for them to force a couple of turnovers from Rivers.
