Markelle Fultz has had one of the strangest starts to an NBA career in recent history, but at least part of the explanation has finally surfaced.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Fultz received a diagnosis after seeing multiple specialists earlier this week.

Since being picked No. 1 overall in 2017, he has not had any type of success he saw while playing at the University of Washington. He’s been unable to have a consistent shooting form, and his free throws have been especially problematic.

Luckily, Fultz’s injury is in fact curable, so it’s entirely possible that he will be able to transform into the explosive, talented guard everyone expected him to become.

Wojnarowski later explained that according to Fultz’s agent, the TOS was found on his neck and shooting shoulder. Prime Time Sports Talk will keep you updated with how much time in physical therapy is expected in order to get Fultz back into top form as the details continue to roll out.
