Harvard remained out west as the Wooden Legacy rolled on Friday.
The Crimson, behind 21 points apiece from Bryce Aiken and Chris Lewis, defeated Saint Joseph’s by a 77-71 final score.
Harvard went up 7-3 early in this one, a game it never trailed, and took a 34-28 lead into halftime.
The Crimson lead grew to as much as nine in the final frame, as they held on for the victory.
The Crimson were led on defense by Lewis and his nine rebounds and Robert Baker who hauled down 11 boards.
Harvard will face CS Fullerton (2-3) on Sunday at 9:30 p.m.
