After suffering its first loss of the season yesterday, Boston College made quick work of La Salle to pick up an, 82-61, victory in the consolation game of the Hall of Fame Tip-Off Tournament.
Junior guard Jerome Robinson continues to be the go-to guy for the Eagles as he shot 8 of 14 from the field and 6 of 8 from the line, totaling a season-high 25 points.
With 12:57 go to, and BC holding on to a 40-34 lead, Robinson nailed a 3-pointer to ignite a 10-3 Eagles run, and they just pulled away from there.
Also having a solid performance for BC, which shot 48.4 percent from the field, was Nik Popovic, who netted 18 points and snatched seven boards.
The Eagles will host Colgate (2-1) on Wednesday at 4 p.m. as they look to keep rolling.
