After missing the entire preseason and the opening week of NBA action, forward Marcus Morris has finally released a target date on his return to the lineup.
Marcus Morris says his target return date is 10/30 vs. San Antonio. "These past couple of days (the knee) has been feeling really good."

Dealing with a legal battle as well as right-knee soreness, Morris has been kept sidelined which then led to shortages in the roster with Gordon Hayward and Marcus Smart fighting leg injuries as well.
Hayward is still without a timetable, while Smart remains day-to-day with upcoming games on Oct. 24 versus the New York Knicks and a rematch with the Milwaukee Bucks two days later. Following those affairs, Boston goes into Miami on Oct. 28 and then hosts the San Antonio Spurs on Oct. 30.
Their talented defense will be crucial if the young Celtics hope to defeat a championship-caliber team such as the San Antonio Spurs.
Another important factor about having both of them available is getting an idea of how head coach Brad Stevens will control the rotation, as both are players that could find themselves in the starting five.
Until they are healthy, however, Boston will be forced to rely on young players to win games including 21-year-old Jaylen Brown and 19-year-old Jayson Tatum who have both received over 35 minutes of action in the first three contests this season.
