The 2017-18 season is here.
Tomorrow, the Boston Bruins will battle the Nashville Predators at TD Garden with puck drop set for 7 p.m
This is the roster the Bruins will hit the ice with.
Noel Acciari, David Backes, Matt Beleskey, Patrice Bergeron, Anders Bjork, Jake Debrusk, David Krejci, Sean Kuralay, Brad Marchand, Riley Nash, David Pastrnak, Tim Schaller, Ryan Spooner, Frank Vatrano
As expected Anders Bjork made the roster. The superstar from Notre Dame looks to make his NHL debut at TD Garden Tomorrow night.
The Bruins will roll the dice with Matt Beleskey despite his poor 2016-2017 campaign where he managed only three goals.
Frank Vatrano’s roster spot seemed to be in question, but it appears his job is safe for now.
The Bruins 2015 first-round pick Jake DeBrusk will make his NHL debut after a solid showing in the pre season.
There is a lot of young faces among the Bruins wingers. Hopefully young guys such as Bjork and DeBrusk can jump-start the scoring depth for the Bruins this season.
Brandon Carlo, Zdeno Chara, Matt Grzelcyk, Charlie McAvoy, Adam McQuaid, Kevan Miller, Paul Postma
Torey Krug will start the regular season on IR and is expected to miss at least the first two games.
Charlie McAvoy, who had a strong showing in last season’s Stanley Cup Playoffs, will make his long-awaited regular season debut.
Matt Grzelcyk is likely just a place holder for Torey Krug while he recovers from the fractured jaw he suffered in the pre season.
Tuukka Rask, Anton Khudobin
No surprises, Tuukka Rask is the starter and Anton Khudobin will back him up.
It seemed as though the Bruins were thinking about taking one last chance on Malcolm Subban, but he was claimed on waivers by the Las Vegas Golden Knights.
