Hockey season is just around the corner, and while most free agents were signed over the summer and have settled into their new teams, Jaromír Jágr is still trying to find a team to play with for the 2017-18 season.
There are rumored to be three teams interested in Jágr, including the Boston Bruins, and while Jágr might not have the same hands or speed he possessed when he was younger, it would be a hell of a time. Since he’s probably eager to sign with a team, the Black and Gold could sign him for without breaking the bank. Plus, a little added leadership in a team filled with young guys doesn’t seem like a bad idea.
The 45-year-old Jágr, who played in 11 games with the Bruins in the 2012-13 season after being acquired from the Dallas Stars, netted 16 goals and dished out 30 assists in 82 games last season with the Florida Pathers.
The other teams rumored to be in the mix for his services include the St. Louis Blues and the Calgary Flames.
