I Said It 7-14-17: Seguin, Sandoval, and Sale
By Producer Alex
Happy Bastille Day! What’s that? Yeah, I don’t know what that means either. It just sounded cool. Okay, here we go.
- So apparently the Bruins owner Jeremy Jacobs has been breaking the TD Garden’s lease by not hosting a required amount of charity events. But shouldn’t trading Tyler Seguin away and getting nothing in return count as more than enough charity? Just saying…
- Remember when Ben Cherington paid Pablo Sandoval, Rusney Castillo, and Allen Craig a total of $195 million altogether? Meanwhile, the entire GDP of the Marshall Islands is $191 million… So we could’ve just bought the goddamn Marshall Islands (and probably got more for our money).
- Steven Gostkowski refuses to reveal what song he likes to sing in his head before taking kicks. That’s fine with me, as long as it’s not Justin Bieber.
- Chris Sale started the MLB All-Star Game and the AL only scored 2 runs. What is it with this guy? Even the best players in the league can barely give him enough run support…
Man, these are some angry jokes. I should take a vacation.
