Another week has come and gone in the NFL. We saw the Redskins, Dolphins, and Bengals all win in the same week for the first time since Week 1 of last season. We saw the Cowboys get humbled on Turkey Day by the Bills, and we saw both 10-1 teams lose on the road.
Here are 13 things we can take away from this week’s slate of games.
1. The wait is over.
The Cincinnati Bengals blew out the Jets 22-6 for their first win of the season, improving to 1-11 on the season. Coach Zac Taylor finally reached the milestone of his first win as an NFL head coach.
2. Dolphin Magic.
The Miami Dolphins had an impressive victory over the Eagles on Sunday, which included the trick play of the season.

3. Another top team falls victim to Jackson’s Ravens.
The Ravens won against the de facto “team to beat” in the NFC on Sunday, besting the San Francisco 49ers on a last-second field goal from Justin Tucker.
4. Snow place like home.
Aaron Rodgers and the Packers rebounded after a blowout loss to the Niners by beating up on a rebuilding Giants team in a snowy MetLife Stadium.
5. Thanksgiving tradition.
The Lions and Cowboys both lost at home on Thanksgiving Day, thanks to performances from the Bears and Bills respectively.
6. The Chiefs are back…
Patrick Mahomes and Chiefs finally got back to playing like they did a season ago, throttling the Raiders at Arrowhead. Could they be hitting their stride at the right time?
7. …and so are the Rams?
Like the Chiefs, the Rams have struggled to match what they were able to do a season ago. Against the Cardinals on Sunday, Todd Gurley ran wild, Jared Goff played well and the defense dominated most of the game. However, could it be too little too late?
8. The right time for complete team football.
The Titans’ special teams were deserving of much of the credit for the team’s win over the Colts. They blocked two field-goal attempts, including one that was returned for a touchdown. This bodes well for a team fighting for a playoff spot, and maybe even a division crown.
9. Is the curse broken?
In the Titans victory on Sunday, they overcame a stranglehold that Indianapolis had on them. It’s only the second time they have won at Lucas Oil Stadium.
10. Curse continues.
Kirk Cousins is now 0-8 on Monday Night Football following a heartbreaking loss to the Seahawks.
11. Inching closer.
Titans running back Derrick Henry, with his 149 yards rushing on Sunday, now sits just 36 yards behind the league’s leading rusher.
12. Minshew Magic 2.0.
After Nick Foles got benched in the second half of Jacksonville’s blowout loss to Tampa Bay, Gardner Minshew played well in relief; well enough for coach Doug Marrone to name him the starter for the remainder of the season.
13. First career win, and another season lost.
Broncos rookie Drew Lock made his season debut. He played well, putting his team in position for the game-winning field goal as time expired. On the losing end was Philip Rivers, who has been rumored to possibly getting benched. Rivers drove his team to a go-ahead touchdown late, but it wasn’t enough.
